Motivational Tips and suggestions.

 

No one plans to fail…they just fail to plan.

 

The above statement is true with so many things in our lives. Our health need not be one of them. By using the tips below, you can begin to make the small adjustments that will allow you to be your own personal best.

You are worth every precious moment of your life.

 

 

  1. Have your gym bag packed the night before and place it near the front door or into your car. This will allow you to go right from work to your workout with out having to stop home to change. Many times, the stop home turns into a stop. Prevent that by planning ahead and being ready for your workout.

 

  1. Plan your meals the evening before. It is very easy to just grab something and go when you have not prepared your meals. Instead of self-sabotage, have your meals ready the night before. Rice, hard-boiled eggs, even chicken breast can all be cooked on a Sunday and eaten through the first couple days of the week. Again, planning ahead is crucial to you success.

 

  1. Keep a journal tracking your workouts and eating. This will provide you with your own personal success journal. Once you begin seeing results, or feeling results, you will have tracked what helped create the results into your journal. When you have the recipe for success, you can create your image whenever you like.

 

  1. Write down your goals. When you put a goal to paper, you make it real for yourself. Instead of just talking about what you want to accomplish, take small steps towards what will be your final outcome.

 

  1. Honor your self- promises. They are the most important ones. If you have planned a workout for yourself, do it. Other people can wait. They will be there when you finish your workout. You will feel better about you and will be able to tackle the next task.

 

  1. Strive for progress instead of perfection. This is an on going event you have begun. There will be days when you do not feel like you stayed on your plan. Forgive yourself and go on. Rome was not built in a day, or without setbacks. Instead of kicking yourself, tell yourself you will do better tomorrow, and then follow through.

 

  1. If you realize something is not working in your program, takes steps immediately to change it. Do not continue doing the same thing and expect a different result. Deal with the current situation, make the proper adjustments and move ahead.

 

  1. When traveling on vacation, plan your workouts in advance. Pack your walking or running shoes. Get out and walk and enjoy nature. A gym is not required for a workout. Tension bands provide adequate resistance for workouts on the go. Eliminate excuses by preparing yourself.

 

  1. Let family and friends know that you have scheduled time for You in your days, and take the time to move your body. A vacation does not require you to abandon your fitness goals. Instead, use the opportunity to get creative in your training. Nature will provide the equipment for you.

 

  1.  Enjoy yourself. Laugh, play run, wear sunscreen, and eat watermelon. Enjoy the journey.
